Finding someone who has created something from scratch and succeeded in growing that business is rare. Luckily, TiE has a robust network of charter members who have taken the entrepreneurial journey themselves and now want to help you navigate through this complicated path toward your own success. We connect young businesses with some of the most experienced entrepreneurs (regionally and internationally) who give their time and expertise to help develop the next generation of success stories. Our mentors also connect businesses to the ecosystem of support (including funders) that they need to grow and flourish.
TiE Charter Members (CMs) are high profile entrepreneurs, professionals and thought leaders from diverse industries. There are 2,500 Charter members in the TiE ecosystem. TiE CMs are dedicated to the mission of TiE, and the virtuous cycle of wealth creation and giving back to the community. "The one big thing an entrepreneur needs to do is to sell. An entrepreneur needs to sell to himself, to his spouse, to his mom, father-in-law… and then to people who work with you, and to investors who give you money, and to the customers long before the real product is out. So if you are uncomfortable selling, you will not succeed as an entrepreneur."
